Dear Parent/Carer
Our P5/6 Football Team showed excellent skills and teamwork on Wednesday when they played in the School Board Cup. It was all down to goal difference in the end and the team just missed out going through to the finals. Well done to you all.
Well done to Alicia who has been chosen to perform a short Cello Recital at the Saltire Society’s AGM this evening.
Primary 3 had an amazing time at Dynamic Earth on Thursday and P7 enjoyed a Transition Sports Day at Broughton High School. All our P7s and Pirniehall’s P7s had a great day on Monday at Broughton for a co-operative sports day organised by Robert Ure, our Active Schools’ Co-ordinator.
Over the last two weekends there have been children from our school on both the Nursery Roof and the new P1 building roof. This is extremely dangerous and unsafe. Please discuss the dangers of doing this with your child if they are using our playground unsupervised at the weekends and after 6pm.
We had a wonderful assembly today from P2a. Well done to all!
This week’s Head Teacher Awards were presented to:
P1 Sofia, Yutso, Amy, Sinan, Issac, Iris and Amelie
P2 Philippa, Gregor, Sophie, Max, Maciek, Sunia and Ciara
P3 Harris, Lola and Charlie
P4 Emma, Amy, Lewis, Aliyah and Aris
P5 Daniel, Aaryan and Sandy
P6 Edward and Maia
P7 Josie, Jack, Carla and Katy
Thank you to Finnegan for playing the piano so well at assembly.
Finally, a reminder that Monday is a holiday. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Tuesday 24th May.
Best wishes
Irene Brennan
