Dear Parent/Carer
It has been a pleasure to welcome children and staff from Pirniehall Primary while their school is closed and we have made lots of new friends.
What a fabulous Eco Week. We were so impressed with the wonderful shoebox habitats and fabulous outfits. The Eco-committee will announce the winning endangered species that the school will adopt very soon. Thank you to Ms Mesquita and Ms Yarrow for all their hard work.
The sandpit is a great success but the sand is everywhere! We will look at raising the edges to try to contain the sand.
This term is, as always, very busy and we would like to remind you that there are two Monday holidays to come. Monday 2nd May and Monday 23rd May. The school is closed for children on THURSDAY 5th May (In-service day for staff) and the term ends at 12 noon on THURSDAY 30th June.
Our Sports Day is planned for the afternoon of Thursday 9 June with Tuesday 14 June as our fall back day if it rains on the 9th June.
The Readathon was a huge success, many thanks to all for organising, (parents, Heidi, Sophie and Jessica from the Parent Council Fundraising Group) and for supporting and joining in. We raised the magnificent total of £2497.99. Well done to everyone!
