Dear Parent/Carer
We hope you enjoyed reading your child's class newsletter for this term which went out by Parentmail this week.
Primary 1 children were astonished to discover that a friendly dragon had visited their classrooms this week. It seems that Fairyland is in trouble and our kind P1children are enthusiastically helping the dragon. It's wonderful to see beanstalks and castles appear in the classrooms.
We hope you are able to come along to the Parent Council Meeting at 7pm in the Music School on Monday 25th and look forward to seeing you.
Congratulations to our P7 children who played very well at a Basketball Tournament this week and are through to the finals in March.
The Music School pupils attended an amazing piano masterclass this week with Steven Osborne. Hailun and Arjun from Flora's and Chiara, Hannah and Emily from Broughton played beautifully in front of a very large audience, who were then treated to an hour's performance from Steven. A wonderful event from one of the greatest pianists of his generation.
This week's Head Teacher's Awards were awarded to:
P1 Tommy, Charlie, Asher, Amy, Zoe, Jamie, Emily and Leo.
P2 Charlie, Finlay, Bella, Anna and Ben
P3 Thomas, Shefaly and Fearn
P4 Charlotte, Anna and Angelina
P5 Sara, Marcel and Douglas
P6 Ellie and asked a

Arjun for playing the piano in assembly
Special Head Teacher's Awards were also presented to Hailun and Arjun for their performances at the Steven Osborne piano masterclass. Very well done indeed!
Congratulations to Rose for coming second in a dance competition for the whole of the U.K. Well done, Rose!
P4b presented an absolutely super assembly on the Rainforest to the school and parents this morning. What interesting facts and we loved your Rainforest songs. Well done to you all!
We are very close to having 600 followers on Twitter. Are you following us? It's a great way to share the learning in our classes and find out what's happening at Flora's.
We hope you have a great weekend.
Best wishes
Irene Brennan
