It was great to see so many of you at the BHSeptemberfest on Saturday. What fantastic activities, stalls and performances. An amazing amount of hard work clearly went into the planning and organising resulting in a hugely successful day. Well done!
Look out for your appointment time to meet your child's class teacher, which will be sent home in school bags on Tuesday. (Wednesday for P2s as they are out at the Zoo on Tuesday.) We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th October.
The Scholastic Book Fair will be in the hall during Parent-Teacher Consultations. Remember to drop in. A percentage of the takings goes to the school to buy books for our library. Thank you for your support.

The 28th September marks the 110th anniversary of the death of Flora Clift Stevenson. We are proud to have our school named after her. Flora Stevenson devoted her life to children's welfare and the education of girls and women. She was a pioneer for the admission of women to University. In 1903 she received the degree of L.L.D. From the University of Edinburgh and was made an honorary Burgess of the City in 1905.
Flora Stevenson is buried in the Dean Cemetery and our P7 House and Vice Captains visited her grave today.

A reminder that The school closes for the October break on Friday 9th of October. The children return to school on Wednesday 21st October.
