Dear Parent/Carer

READATHON. The magnificent total raised by the Readathon for our library refurbishment is
£5, 431.21 – WOW! This will be added to the money already raised from the Quiz Night and the sale of Christmas cards.

Very well done and a huge thank you to everyone and of course, to Mrs Embleton and Mrs Llewellin for planning and organising.

The class who raised most money was P4a. Very well done, they are looking forward to their visit from La Favorita to make pizzas.

The child who raised the most money was Ella in P5b, very well done Ella, enjoy using your Kindle!

The child who read the most in P1 to P3 was Daniel in P2a and it P4-7, Kelvin in P6b. Very well done Daniel and Kelvin, enjoy using your Kindles!

Our children and staff worked very hard on researching all things Scottish during our Scottish Fortnight and we enjoyed sharing our learning with you. Another huge thank you to everyone for their hard work.

PARENT COUNCIL. This Monday evening (26 January) is our next Parent Council Meeting in the Music School at 7pm. All welcome. The agenda items include updates on fundraising and events, the playground and road safety around the school. We look forward to seeing you then.

We are looking forward also to the Parent Council Ceilidh on Saturday 31st January.

Best wishes
