26th September

It’s been great fun following the P7’s week at Dalguise on our Twitter account! Mr Rae has kept us up to date about the fantastic activities and delicious menu! We look forward to welcoming them back to school.

Appointment times for our Parent-Teacher Consultations on 8th and 9th October are being sent home via ‘pupil post’ – please check your child’s bag this weekend.

Please come along on Tuesday 7th October to the Old Hall to view the plans for the new build.

We are delighted to be starting our monthly coffee mornings again and warmly invite you to join us.
The Coffee Morning on the last Monday of each month is an opportunity for parents and carers of children with an additional support need to meet up and chat. We look forward to seeing you this Monday 29 September.
The Coffee Morning on the first Monday of each month is for all parents and carers of both the school and the nursery classes to meet other parents and carers over a cuppa. We look forward to seeing you on the 6th October.
Both Coffee Mornings are held in the Dining Hall from 8.50am for an hour.

Parking
Once again can I please ask you to park further away from the school and walk to school. Parents and carers are parking irresponsibly on the main road and are making it more dangerous for our children to cross the road safely. There are 520 children in the school and 120 nursery children across the course of the day. We are a VERY busy establishment and there is no room for vehicles to park in the immediate vicinity of the school. Also both premises across from the school are justifiably complaining that their customers cannot find a space in their car parks in order to conduct their business with the Post Office and The Bank of Scotland. Please DO NOT use these car parks to drop off and collect children from our school and nursery classes. Thank you very much for your support with this.

Finally. A reminder that the Septemberfest Event takes place at Broughton High School tomorrow, Saturday 27 September and is always a huge success. Last year there were two thousand visitors!

Best wishes
