Dear Parent/Carer
I am pleased to let you know that Ms McGhee will be Acting Head Teacher while the post of Head Teacher is re-advertised in August. It is hoped that the permanent Head Teacher will be appointed and in place as soon as possible in the new session.
At our assembly we said (in fact sung,) Farewell and best wishes for a very healthy and happy retirement to Mr MacInnes, our Janitor. He will certainly be missed!
The children had great fun at the P7 soak the staff event. P7 raised around £400 for their ‘end of school’ outing. Thank you to all who participated.
We are looking forward, as always to our Sports Day on Thursday 8th June at our usual venue, Edinburgh Academy Rugby Ground in Raeburn Place. We aim to begin at 1.20pm weather permitting of course!
A reminder that the Parent Council School Fair is on Saturday 10th June and is shaping up to be a great afternoon.
