I am just a little bit astonished to find myself writing this Flyer with only one week left to the end of term. Time certainly flies!
We are all thoroughly enjoying our ‘Happiness Month.’ The P7 classes in particular have had a VERY happy week starting with their trip to Foxlake on Monday, then three days transition at their High Schools and an awesome Qually last night. Everyone looked fantastic and had an amazing time.
I had great fun this afternoon watching the Netball Team take on the staff at Netball. Great game everyone and such fun to watch! Who knew the staff were so good at netball!
I had a wee tear in my eye today at my final Head Teacher’s Tea Party! I am always incredibly proud of the children when I hand out my certificates. What hardworking, kind and thoughtful children! Well done to all. This week’s certificates were presented to:
P1 Sophia, Carrie, Sam, Andrew, Rory, Felicity, Innes and Theo.
P2 Irtaza, Abigail, Gabriel and Robåbie
P3 Zara, Erin and Jessica
P4 Damla, Zahara and Emma
P5 Jamie, Andy and Isla
P6 Andrew, Sam and Robbie
P7 certificates will be given out at their Leavers’ Assembly on Wednesday afternoon.
Hailun played a wonderful piece at assembly today which had us all spellbound, stunning!
Sophia shared her photographs with us about her wonderful 10k walk for charity raising over £200. A fantastic achievement!
Sports Day was a huge success, many thanks to Ms Hutt and her helpers. The winning house was Raeburn. Congratulations to everyone for participating so well.
School finishes next Friday at 12.00 noon and resumes for children on Wednesday 16th August. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for continued good weather over the summer break.
Have a lovely weekend.
Best wishes
