Flora’s Flyer for 27th January 2017

Dear Parent/Carer

We have enjoyed a week of all things Scottish and look forward immensely to the Parent Council Family Ceilidh on Saturday. This event has sold out and promises to be an excellent evening! Huge thanks to Jamie from Broughton High School who piped us into assembly today accompanied by Elian on the snare drum. What a wonderful start to the day! We were thrilled to listen to a number of wonderful recitations and shown great examples of art work at our assembly also. Richt braw bairns!

The minutes of the recent Parent Council meeting can be found on their website at florasparentcouncil.wordpress.com

The next Parent Council Meeting is on the 20th March at 7pm.

Thank you for supporting all our Fundraising efforts. You donated £132.39 to the Children’s Charity, The Yard at our Christmas collection at the church and £389.09 to the homeless Charity, Crisis at Christmas. Huge thanks to you all.

Flossie came joint 5th and will get a trophy. Pavel and Kasey each won a medal for scoring 50% or higher. Rocco and Marshall played in the P5 and Under.
